Ricorda: non è la lettura frettolosa, bensì la ponderata meditazione che renderà le sante verità celesti fresche e vantaggiose per l’anima. Il miele non viene raccolto attraverso il semplice lambire del fiore da parte dell’ape, ma è grazie al suo posarsi per alquanto tempo sul fiore, che possiamo ricavare quel nettare. Il miglior cristiano, il più saggio, il più devoto, il più forte, non è quello che legge molto, ma quello che medita molto.
