La natura dell’uomo contemporaneo è la stessa di sempre: egli è un ribelle senza tregua contro Dio. Può darsi che in certe generazioni sappia nascondere la propria disubbidienza meglio che in altre, ma il suo cuore non cambia. Lo spirito degli uomini che edificarono una città contro Dio ai giorni di Babele, era mosso dallo stesso odio mostrato dai crocifissori di Gesù.
